Mama Chang

I absolutely love their menu. Such a gem in an unsuspecting location, they have very flavorful and authentic foods. I really enjoy their chicken dishes, beef chow fun, and fish. The soup dumplings in my opinion are less flavorful and drier than I’d like. It does get very busy around dinner time so make a reservation or order take out in advance. I come here often and have been working my way down the menu!

Best Chinese food I’ve had, though admittedly my previous experiences were solely from take-out spots. Every dish we ordered was great, and their taste in music is exceptional. Would recommend.

Editing this review to add photos from my recent visit. Okay, before I get to raving about the food, I just want to say I loved it! The whole experience was amazing, so much so that I forgot to take photos of the dishes we had. But this also gives me an excuse of going back to try more food and take photos. To begin, we were a group of four plus a baby, and we started off with some Amish chicken wonton soup (loved the clear broth with the simple chicken wonton) and the pork soup dumpling which tasted good but I loved the chicken soup. :) Then, we tried the Hunan chicken chowmein, green beans, ghost chilly beef, and grandma’s sizzling pork belly. And, we loved it all. The chowmein was so yum that we ended up ordering a second plate. The ghost chilly beef was numbing hot (please check with your server about the level of spice before you get this). I have had the bhooth jhalokia (ghost chilly) before so I really enjoyed this dish. The pork belly tasted amazing as well. Also, the portions were generous and can be easily shared between 2 -3 people. The service was exceptional! I wish I had asked our server’s name before we left. The baby with us dropped her tiny spoon on the ground and our server immediately offered to wash the spoon and get it for her. This was such a super sweet gesture. All in all, we loved the whole experience at Mama Chang.

Updated: I love this place so much I order Uber Eats often! Great authentic Chinese dishes. We had a larger than 6 group so the round table was fantastic to sit. A lot of food dishes to select from & everything was delicious & the dishes savory. The coconut pudding was a nice finishing touch to the palette. 10/10 recommend.

Delicious place for dumplings and asian fare. We tried the bubble pancake, some pork and shrimp dumplings, and their chicken chowmein. All great tasting, but I felt the dishes could have been hotter (the chowmein had one chilli pepper in the menu but it was barely spicy) Crowded place with a lot of buzz - definitely a local favorite!

We had a great family gathering at Mama Chang on Labor Day weekend. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. We had eaten at Mama Chang several times already in last several years.The experiences were joyful and memorable. I would like to recommend for family gatherings at the well decorated banquet room.
